I'm guessing that's a joke, but in case not - you actually can. Just go into your preferences, go to options, and unselect the box for showing signatures. That will turn them all off, though.

Certainly a kindler, gentler, more defensive approach than I had investigated. I had looked into the hypersonic audio spotlight technology that focuses audible sound into a narrow field. I kind of envisioned using it against my neighbor who runs his hot tub 12 hours a day (six of those at night). I hadn't fully thought out what I would broadcast, but it would always be directly at his head. Screaming, perhaps. A message from the dark one, maybe. Some small measure of payback, though.

Imagine if Denon could incorporate these sonic crystals into the new hdmi cable they've recently released! You couldn't put a price on something like that!

I have "cloaked" his sig animations using Adblock Plus.

So what is really new about this, other than the verbiage of "sonic crystals"? Built-in sound proofing has existed for some time now. So they now have a new material for sound proofing. I don't mean for this to sound rude, but what is the big deal? Unless it is something that could be easily and affordably added to existing structures, people are going to be woken in the dead of night by noisy neighbors well into the foreseeable future. It isn't as if every house and apartment building is going to be demolished tomorrow and be rebuilt with this stuff.
