First I have been lurking on this site for quite some time and you guys have given my a lot of valuable info that I have put into use. I have an Oulaw LFM-1 Plus on the way. It will be replacing my two Polk PSW 202's. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to connect 1 PSW 202 trough speaker level connection to my center channel Polk CS2. I have a pioneer receiver with base plus on it will output 80Hz and below to all speakers set to large and my sub. Will this effcet how the Outlaw sounds. What have you guys done with extra subs. Unfortunatly I live in Base Housing in Okinawa Japan, so no extra rooms for a new setup. Thanks.

Nothing says your a good friend like a donation to one of your buddies on base...

Its not really worth anything to you, why don't you make someones day and give the gift of BASS....

A local friend of mine has been going through some hard times, I had a pretty nice Klipsch KSW-10 sub just sitting around so I gave it to him. He was incredibly thankful, and I am happy that it will go to good use.

Brings a smile to my face...

I gave him a contingency that if he upgrades, he brings it back, and I can donate it to someone else... :)

This really is a good idea. I have done this some in the past myself. Sometimes, it really is better to give than to receive.

Have it so the driver faces up, then use them as Bowls. That's all a Polk subwoofer is good for.

Bonus points if your pour a bowl of cereal into it and eat it like a real man - with the U5-71 depth charge scene on and the sub cranked to 11.

First guy to finish all the cereal wins.

I agree...I've donated all kinds of old equipment to thankful owners. Ahh the gift of BASS!

I also pass on useful older equipment as gifts to those who can use it. I recently gave away my Hsu ventriloquist system with my old Sony sub and 90's vintage receiver to somebody that's very happy just to have more than TV sound. What's it called...pay it forward?
