Hello all. Joe B., from Warwick, NY(10990) here again. My Yamaha C750 DVD/SACD/CD player/changer, has some pretty serious issues. I was considering just buying a new player, that did the same things. Problem is, I really don't know of any such player, that does all the same things, and at the same time is a 5 disc changer too. Also, I really don't think, that such a unit, would be very affordable. Here are the problems: When I hit the open button, the tray either comes out very hesistantly. or it actually stops coming out about a quarter of the way out, and then I have to pull on it a bit(no jokes please) to get it to complete the open function. The same thing happens on the close function. The DVD function, has stopped showing any video at all, though the sound stills plays fine. The only saving grace, is the sound. The Yamaha C750 has exellent sound quality, and the 5 disc capacity makes it a real bonus too. I am having a hell of a time, finding a place that will servive this unit. I've called Yamaha, at least 5 times now, and I've either gotten the run-a-round, or given a service center to call, that no longer exists, or doesn't service this unit anymore.(It's not an old unit, is it?)
