Some of my favs are

Actors: Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Joaquin Phoenix, Anthony Hopkins, Joe Pesci, Cuba Gooding Jr., Bruce Willis, Micheal Landon,Clint Eastwood

Actresses: Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Kirsten Dunst, Salma Hayek, Marisa Tomei, Liz Taylor, Demi Moore, Kathrine Jones, Jodi Foster

Daniel Day is a great actor, but he doesn't do a lot of movies. The only thing I've seen him in that I didn't care for was Gangs of New York. There Will Be Blood comes out on BD next week :)

+1 for Ed Harris - that one somehow got missed. Great actor.

Yes, Ed is great. Hey, what did you think about Kevin Spacey in K-PAX? Just curious as that movie was different to say the least.

Never saw K-Pax. If you want to see an interesting one with Ed Harris though, give Pollak a rent.

I sure will sometime John. K-PAX, is good but I preferred Kevin Spacey in American Beauty myself. I also really like Ed Harris in Step Mom. You see that one?

Wow, lots of good actors/actresses mentioned thus far. How about the likes of Anthony Hopkins or Sean Connery. Still yet, Robert DuVall or Ed Harris. I also have to mention Denzel Washington and Matt Damon or Bruce Willis. As far as actresses go, the hotties would be like Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, and Haley Barry. Demi Moore seems to just look better and better with age. Do any of you agree here?

(Slap myself in the forehead) - Robert Duvall, of course! :) How about Dennis Hopper - Anyone seen the movie Blue Velvet? Truly bizarre f'ed up role in only the way he can do it, but he plays it to the tee.

Huge Laurie for his work in House MD. Not only is his acting phenomenal, but he suppresses an accent at the same time. One of the most Underrated actors today.

Shoot yeah-forgot about Dennis Hopper. No matter what character he plays it is always to the fullest. Very good actor in his own right. What about John Voight? He is another actor that throws himself into his characters.

Not as familiar with Laurie's work. But, from what I have seen he is very talented. Have seen his show a few times. Lately, really have not had time to watch much tv. The funny thing is, a neighbor's son looks a lot like him. In fact, I have told him he could be a "double" if he would contact the right people.

Actor - Gary Oldman.

Actress - Sela Ward or Lisa Edelstein

I'm not talking about every performance being Oscar caliber but the ladies are hot. My favorite Gary Oldman movie is Romeo is Bleeding....followed by Dracula.

I loved that movie. Did NOT know Laurie was in that one. Nothing like seeing it again. I rarely do watch one twice BUT Patriot was so good I don't mind at all. BTW, I seen on the news about a storm heading your way Mike. I hope you and your family is safe. How bad is it Mike?

yeah, he was with this other guy (both playing gay characters i think) in the british general's presence IIRC

never touched the capital city :)

im fine, but the provinces up north were battered silly i think.

well, we're like Florida, but instead of ONE coastline facing the ocean ... we're pretty much made of one big coastline with some land in the middle.

Very entertaining. The ACDC "Highway To Hell" was a nice touch. The funniest is when he asks the little girl about finding Nemo..........LOL!!!!

Mike, I am so glad you and your family are safe. Hopefully, nobody else got hurt as well. I will surely have to see Patriot again now for sure. Thanks for the info.
