Well update...... I just finished doing my fronts and center speaker in 12 gauge bi-wire and what a ***** it was, my fricken finger tips are raw from twisting , turning ,soldering and filing. I must say you guys were wright no major difference. I wouldnt do it again, not with 12 gauge anyway maybe with 14 gauge though. The speakers were no problem wiring but the back of my receiver was ruff. There was no way you could twist the wire together and fit them in the whole I had to solder each end of the wire after twisting the 2 together and then dremel them so they would fit nice and clean without and freys and fit nice and snug. It ended up being about a 2 and 1/2 hour job, for me anyway. I must say it does sound a little better to me almost like its more defined but not a huge difference for the work I had to do. But it does feel good knowing i've got some beafy 12 gauge back there. But you guys were wright like I said no night and day difference .Next time when and if there is I'll use 14 gauge thats for sure. End result im happy with the results but not the work involved for the little difference.I imagine it should sound even better once the speaker wire burns in to.
