Any reason NOT to buy a Mitsubishi DLP RPTV?

Looks like the top shelf would be fine raised up an inch. I hate to see you put your speakers in the encloser.
Thanks. Great write-up. I could even follow those directions if I can learn how to use a measuring tape.

After installing my new entertainment center, my fronts are now essentially enclosed in a 3-sided box. I noticed the sound got muddled and the bass was real boomy. I'll need to treat the wall behind my fronts, or pull them out into the middle of my room. My wife will have to choose the less of 2 evils.

Here's my entertainment center:

That top bridge would have to raised up 1". It was damaged during delivery, so we don't have it right now to see if it will look bad or not.

I also need to replace my Carver 1.5t with a 5 channel amp. I'm thinking about an Emotiva LPA-1. Any comments on that? I'm sure your a fan of your MPS-1.

I'm just wondering if anyone make a comparable product in the $500 price range.

I need to quit hi-jacking this thread.

The new Emo will be around 600 bucks and have 5 channels. I think it comes out next month.

Actually, the XPA-5 is $800, which is why I'm looking at the LPA-1. $800 is too much for me right now.

What are you guys doing to my thread?!?!:mad:

I don't really care...;)

freeride: I'm of the opinion you just can't go wrong with Emotiva. I love mine. :)

Greg: That is a nice setup you have there. You're really making me want that TV when I already decided last week to hold off for LAZRTV. It's funny, but you own what I've wanted for some time. Paradigm Studio 40's and a 73" Mitz. I hope you are enjoying living my dream...
