need immediate help in finding cheaper XBR4 in Canada

I need these at these prices, but in between my email to my uncle and their purchase, they increased prices.

KDL26M3000 - 2 of these (650CAD each)
KDL40XBR4 - 4 of these (2400CAD each)
KDL46XBR4 - 4 of these (2800CAD each)
KDL52XBR4 - 1 of this (3500CAD each)

those prices were from bestbuy.ca , but the problem is, they've since increased their prices. you guys know anywhere else in canada to get these sony xbr4's from authorized distributors?

I've been casting loving glances at the XBR4's, but I haven't seen any good sales or lower prices on them to date.

i traced the price difference to something called "instant savings" perhaps that was a promo period for bestbuy

Future Shop has been known to negotiate prices (commision sales staff) and they carry the XBR4. In the case of buying nearly $30,000 worth of TV's, I'm sure your uncle could actually do better than those prices if he's any kind of negotiator.

Is making a trip to the U.S. possible for you? Best Buy has these TVs on sale right now and with the great exchange rate you would be able to come in well within your budget for each size tv.

XBR4 40"-$1999 U.S.
XBR4 46"-$2749 U.S.
XBR4 52"-$3199 U.S.
Bravia 26"-$699 U.S.

I'm not sure about BB's ability to ship to Canada, but you may be able to use this at a Future Shop there and make a pretty good deal as well. Hope this helps.

thanks guys. I'd prefer purchasing from Canada this time because I have container/bonded warehouse waiting there now and it's just much easier to deal with something "local"

It doesn't show the XBR4 on the Sears.ca website, but you might check there if you have a store nearby. The 46" XBR4 was on sale here in the US for $2499 USD as of Sunday.
