Thanks Alex for the kind words. However, he is correct in that I do still have some nice gear for sale. For one, I still have a Pioneer VSX-1015 TX-K receiver in black. I will take $250 and the buyer pays the shipping. I also have a 40" Sony LCDw/HDMI, 768p for sale that I will sell for $1000 and the buyer pays the shipping. The model # on the Sony is 40S2010 in case any of you wanted to know. If anyone is close enough to drive to me I have a Z-line "Visions" tv stand that is very very nice. Will let it go for only $150. Lastly, I still have a Toshiba A-1 HD DVD player that has all the available firmware updates that I will take $100 for and will include the (5) free movies I received as well as a few more. That is a true bargain!!!!. So, if any of you are interested in the items I still have for sale please send me a pm and we can discuss it and perhaps do some business. Have a great day people. Please only serious inquiries.

Hey Speakerman,

USPS Money Order is on it's way via priority mail. Regarding the Pioneer VSX-1015 TX-K I am under the impression that it does not have HDMI capabilities and am curious as to whether or not it has bass management capabilities over the 6 channel analogue inputs.

As far as the TV is concerned, my friends wife will kill ME if he buys it right now.

Alex thanks for the notification. The 1015 does not have hdmi switching but not sure about bass management via the multi-channel inputs. I do believe it does as my sub plays when I use the multi-channel inputs. As such, I suppose it does. Further, I understand about the LCD tv but if things change let me know. Thank you for your help. I will get the Primus speakers boxed up and ready to go. Please pm me your pertinent info needed for shipping. Have a great weekend.

Hi Speakerman,

I'm driving everybody I talk to crazy talking about this stuff. They don't understand!
Nor do they care!  I'm on a steep learning curve here and none too bright so I'm sure you can appreciate what it took me to find this:

Note

• When playback from the multichannel inputs is
selected, only the volume and channel levels can be
set

My H/K AVR 430 is the same way. I think in order to be able to assign X-over frequencies you need to start spending a lot more money than the $250 you're asking for. Obviously I'm interested in the Pioneer be it either for myself or for the neighbor that I sold some of my speakers to. I just need to figure out which one I'm going to keep, mine or yours. I think I'm going to go with the Pioneer and pass my H/K along to my neighbor. That way I can help him set it up and answer any questions. I'm confident enough that the Pioneer will not be a problem for me. If only I had made my arrangements last night I would be telling you that the sale is done.

As it stands now the sale is done as soon as my neighbor tells me it's a go, which he will. The only reason it didn't happen last night is because I was on the fence about who should get what and what should go where.

My pertinent info is on the envelope and I can PM it to you later. I need to get some typing lessons. This has taken me an eternity. :)

Alex

Edit: BTW, what is the "K" all about? I see search results with and without.

Alex, I would be more than happy to sell you my Pioneer 1015. I can also relate to the typing thing as I use the ole 2-finger point and peck method myself........LOL!!!! The VTF-3MKIII is gone as the guy whom bought it just left. Noticed he was all smiles. Please go ahead and sned me your complete shipping details and I will get you a quote for shipping on the 1015. Sorry, but can't remember your zipcode. As far as the technical questions regarding the 1015 I am really not sure. All I know is it has done everything I needed it to and more. Perhaps, some of the other forumk members here can shed some light on this. Guys like Seth=L, warp, mazer, mike_c, j_garcia, and etc. Most of these guys are up on things and may be able to help. Let me know. I am already boxing up your Primus speakers as we speak. Have a great day Alex and thanks once again.

Hey Speakerman,

I just saw my neighbor. He needs a week or two to get the cash together. I imagine you'll have sold it by then and I hope you do but if not I'll be in touch.

Hi, Alex. The 1015 is still available as of right now. BTW, the mail does not run Monday but hope to have the MO on Tuesday. I will make arrangements Tuesday evening when I get home from work and arrange a pick-up. Once done, I will then send you a shipping #. Thanks once again for your help. Take care and God Bless.

Cheers,

Phil

Most of the speaker package arrived today. The rest will be here tomorrow. I just wanted to go on record saying that the 4 speakers I did receive are in mint condition and were packed profesionally. Beyond profesionally. By an obsessive compulsive lunatic, professionally. :) There was packing material everywhere. You could have dropped these babies off the Empire State Building. :D Infinity doesn't pack 'em this well and they looked POLISHED! No lemon scent though. :(

I am really looking forward to #1 hooking these up and #2 my girlfriend leaving the house. :D In any event anything Speakerman39 sells is going to be first rate and it will arive intact if you ask me.

Wow, Alex I am speechless. Which is saying a lot if you know what I mean!!!!:D:D In any event, I am so glad you got your speakers intact. Wonder why they all did not get there at the same time though? Which ones are you still waiting on? How do you like the sound so far? Just curious is all. Thanks once again for your kind words. Take care and God Bless.

Originally Pioneer was going to do this AVR in silver and black (the K was reserved for the black, as ALL their AVRs are).
But silver was never done, so the K was dropped.
However, there is absolutely NO difference (some use the K others do not)(some boxes have the K others do not)

By chance, I had one of these AVRs, and I can tell you processing on it is TOP notch and is actually better than my Elite 56.
It has PLENTY of power, and SUPERB center channel modes to choose from (which, when dialed in, makes for excellent placement).

If I had not just got the Emotiva MMC-1, I was thinking of going back to one of these (for the price, it was certainly Pioneer's HOMERUN).

Just in case anybody is keeping up with this I'm here to say that the rest of the speakers arrived today and they are just like the ones that came yesterday. Perfect. Compared to what I was using these sound amazing. I won't go on and on about that. But I like 'em a lot. :) The deal we struck was fair but the improvement in my listening experience is huge.

Speakerman39 has bought and sold before and my guess is that he'll buy and sell again until he acquires his dream system. Once again, first rate equipment. Gear doesn't stay in this condition by accident.

Thank you,
Alex
