Hi Speakerman,
I'm driving everybody I talk to crazy talking about this stuff. They don't understand!
Nor do they care!
I'm on a steep learning curve here and none too bright so I'm sure you can appreciate what it took me to find this:
Note
• When playback from the multichannel inputs is
selected, only the volume and channel levels can be
set
My H/K AVR 430 is the same way. I think in order to be able to assign X-over frequencies you need to start spending a lot more money than the $250 you're asking for. Obviously I'm interested in the Pioneer be it either for myself or for the neighbor that I sold some of my speakers to. I just need to figure out which one I'm going to keep, mine or yours. I think I'm going to go with the Pioneer and pass my H/K along to my neighbor. That way I can help him set it up and answer any questions. I'm confident enough that the Pioneer will not be a problem for me. If only I had made my arrangements last night I would be telling you that the sale is done.
As it stands now the sale is done as soon as my neighbor tells me it's a go, which he will. The only reason it didn't happen last night is because I was on the fence about who should get what and what should go where.
My pertinent info is on the envelope and I can PM it to you later. I need to get some typing lessons. This has taken me an eternity.
Alex
Edit: BTW, what is the "K" all about? I see search results with and without.
