It's symptomatic of this society, blame everyone except the guilty party. Who's going to make all the money? The attorneys.

Even though that pack of numb nuts were being dumber than dumb I still can't help feeling bad for them because I've done some real stupid stuff that very easily could have and probably should have cost me my life. One of these kids is dead and the other two get to be in the media spot light not to mention on the top of the PETA hit list.

They could also end up doing jail time for posession and/or underage drinking.

We all knew the idiots were teasing the tiger from the start, hopefully more details (truthfull details) will come out to expose those 3 s#!ts for what their true nature really is,people who tease or abuse animals are the lowest of the low,im glad they got tore up & eaten:D:D:D.

The one i feel bad for is the Tiger:(,to hell with the stupid kids,im pretty sure we all have done ignorant crap when we were young but how many of here can say we were cruel enough to tease animals, let alone be stupid enough to keep teasing a damm tiger:rolleyes:, until they got it pissed enough to escape its enclosure, chase them down one by one, then tear their a$$es up.

It stands to reason that the tiger was aclimated to seeing humans,it also stands to reason that the tiger was aclimated to seeing people make goofy faces & taunt it,these idiots had to have went way beyond teasing to entice that animal to do what it did.

Whats a real bummer is that the 2 survivors & the others parents will end up with a cash payout that the taxpayers & private zoo supporters will end up paying for .

This is today's news:

Paul Dhaliwal, 19, told the father of Carlos Sousa Jr., 17, who was killed, that the three yelled and waved at the tiger but insisted they never threw anything into its pen to provoke the cat, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle.

...Toxicology results for Dhaliwal showed that his blood alcohol level was 0.16 percent after the attack - twice the legal threshold for drunkenness - while his 24-year-old brother Kulbir Dhaliwal's blood alcohol level was 0.04 percent and Sousa's was 0.02 percent, according to Inspector Valerie Matthews, who prepared the affidavit.

Under the premise of contributory negligence, they may still sue and win, but their percentage of contribution is deducted from the award.

If any of these taunting reportings is true, I would grant them each a $1,000,000.00 award, and 99.9% at fault, resulting in a $10,000 award each. Were it not for their actions, this mauling would not have occurred. Justice served. ;)

Seriously, I have no life.
"Those brothers painted a completely different picture to the public and the press," Singer said. "Now it's starting to come out that what they said is not true.

I think their early claims will come back and bite them hard if it goes to trial.

Yes. It certainly seems that way. I don't think they even have much of a claim...the lion didn't even get a little nibble of either of them. ;) Geragos can protect their interests all he wants. I think the family of the man who was mauled has a claim...but not much because of their contribution.

And if this goes to trial, the zoo could (and I think should) crossclaim against the brothers for their part. Justice.

Number of stupid people are expanding each year.

Tigers are endangered.

Logic should be applied. Sacrifice the expandable and protect the endangered.

I agree completely; from the moment I first read the news report.
The whole thing smelled.
