Hah...this gets more and more interesting. For those who love conspiracy theory..this can be one of the classics.

Recent reports are now saying slingshots were found as well. If the family should be suing anyone, it should be the two who survived.

Sounds like BS to me. A kid with that kind of name has to speak another language. Why would he use English? I know when to use my native tongue.

This is SF, there is a good chance one of the people in the ambulance could have understood their native tongue... They were also intoxicated and based on what is being suggested, not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.

Point taken. Anybody know where these two are from based on there names?

The name appears to be rooted in India; it is a specific tribe or group apparently.

A little taunting...a little vodka...a slingshot or two. Who'da thunk? :p

The news said they wouldn't be charged with anything at this point. A shame, because then they could have found out what it feels like to live in a cage....

Has anyone interviewed the tiger?

they would have if she were alive :D

so they interviewed her fellow tigers instead ...

"she's a nice girl, I can't imagine she'd do something like that ..."

is what they said.

Oh the humanity. I guess the fellow tigers will wear a black band on one of their legs.:(

They are Siberian tigers so they'd wear orange. Black band is just not so visible.

The boys won't cooperate the police investigation; though they were savvy enough to hire celebrity attorney Mark Geragos.

Geragos first came to national attention during trials for Whitewater figure Susan McDougal, the former business partner of former President Bill Clinton.

Geragos defended actress Winona Ryder on charges of stealing more than $5,500 worth of merchandise from a Beverly Hills, California store in 2001

Also, Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson.

I am sure they didn't call Geragos up; he saw the news and approached them would be my guess.

OK. So they did several things that they shouldn't have, and for which they are undoubtably in deep trouble. This does not mean that the zoo isn't liable, since the wall was too short.

So a group of punks went to the local zoo only to find out that the zoo fought back? I love it! Everyone is at fault including the zoo. Morons are everywhere.

It just seems unfortunate that the only people that will benefit (monetarily) from all this will be the same people that caused the problem.

Granted, they say the wall was too short.
How many years has the wall been short? The Zoo opened in 1915.
How many tigers jumped out in that time? One, due to their antisocial behavior.
Their drunk and disorderly actions endangered others.
What would you think if your children were injured or killed due to their behavior? I'd be p i s s e d.
