Anybody see this movie yet,i died laughing the whole way through,admittedly it's 100% toilet humor but it is funny,after watching the movie i started thinking that the whole plot is pretty true to life,true to the dumbing down of people everywhere.Especially the language part of the movie,in the movie everybody uses a form of english based on Hillbilly slang, Valley Girl & Ghetto talk.

I cant remember the thread here but this movie goes right along with the unmotivated children thread that was on this site,kids are acting like this right now & it'll only get worse.

That was I who brought up this movie in the other thread hifi. It's an absurd movie to be sure, but at some point while that other discussion was raging on, I remembered having seen this movie, and how, despite its incredibly silly take on the future somehow has an element of truth to it. It's so ludicrous, but it's kind of scary at the same time...

Not to get this whole thing started again. The movie was made by Mike Judge, as you will find - the proud creator of those lovable idiots, Beavis and Butthead from back in the day.

Go figure. I think the man is either pitifully doomed, or the most brilliant mind in showbiz - I can't figure out which. He did make Office Space too, which is one of the best movies ever.

I'm normally a calm person, but this was one of the only movies where I was nearly unconscious trying to breathe during it. Still a total favorite.

I teach biology labs, and generally show the opening 5 minutes of the film in the first or second week of class because it is such a great example of how natural selection works - babies = win!!!
