Hi

I setup my Integra DTC 9.8 on saturday after much trouble. First it froze at Audyssey speaker setup and wouldn't even let me perform a master reset . I even turn the power off & on, still no display was coming up on the unit. I unplugged it & took it to authorized dealer (Who said he won't look at it until wednesday) At his place when he plugged in power there was display & I could perform master reset.so I brought it back home. At home I was able to perform audyssey setup and the first movie I watched had yellowish tone all over it. After 10 minutes the colors came alive. second movie I watched was excellent no color problems at all. Third movie had yellowish color again and the screen size (I'm using projector & picture is upconverted to 1080i by integra) kept changing from 16:9 to 4:3 while the movie was running. I'm wodering if anybody else had same problem or if this a lemon product I got. Please advice.

That sounds like a logic board issue. The core processor of the Integra may be faulty. Since you just purchased the unit I would return it to Integra for another unit. Sad thing is, it might be a while before you can get another one. I would call and ask how long it will be and see if they will let you hold on to yours until they have one available for exchange. For now you could just run your sources directly to the projector, although I'm sure that connectivity on the projector isn't as plentiful.

Sorry to hear you got a bum unit after probably waiting forever to get yours.:(

I think I would just do that. This yellowish tint is not consistent. Now out of 4 movies I've watched 2 had the yellow tint (for first 10 to 15 minutes).

Connectivity on projector will atleast let me watch movies in their native format. No upconversion for me untill I get new unit.

Fortunately I didn't had to wait any for this Unit but I guess I'll be waiting now for a replaced (hopefuly better) one.

Sounds like a lemon. Mine has worked wonderfully without issues. It has about 100X more modes than I will ever need but it sure is clean and clear.

I had no idea there was backlog on these units. I simply walked into my local hifi shop the day after Christmas and bought it in about 15 minutes. I never even heard about it or auditioned one. It was kinda like this:

Me: I need a new HT pre-amp processor with HDMI switching so I can enjoy the Blu-Rays on the PS3 the wifey gave me for Christmas.

Sales Guy: You'll love the DTC 9.8. What do you use now?
Me: Adcom.
Him: I think you'll like the Integra just fine. I'm selling the hell out of it for the last 6 weeks. Trust me, if you don't like, bring it back and try the Anthem.
Me:Okay what the hell, do you take a check?......

Rest is history. Then I read all the online reviews and I am pleased I simply purchased a great item on the 1st try.
