First seizure at home today. I debated on posting this, but decided it may help Cayla, and myself. She was in my arms when it happened. It's not as hard to take when you have had the time to process the situation. I hope the doctors can help, but at this point, I honestly believe it's in God's hands. She is ok, and we will get through this. As I mentioned, it will take some time for her to heal, and I hope, and pray, she don't have to spend the rest of her life on seizure medication. Any continued prayers will be much appreciated.

Ohh Sorry to hear this Zumbo. It must be so hard as a parent to see this happening to her. Don't lose hope. It sounds like these attacks are much fewer in frequency and that she will eventually will grow out of them as her brain begins to rewire around the damaged part. God will look after Cayla, that you can be sure off.

It's hard to know what to say, but I truly hope that the seizures subside. I'm wishing you and your family the best possible holiday season together.

Don't worry Z, we'll keep praying, look how far that precious baby has come along, like I said my friend with God all things are possible. Don't give up, don't lose courage.

Just hang in there, Zumbo!
I was born a Catholic. Sunday schools. Constant prayers. Read the Bible. I used to pray a lot. Then somehow gradually decreased my praying time. Now I have stop praying for a while.

But I will pray for your baby!

I have 2 daughters (4 & 5 yrs old). I have not thanked God enough for a while. But I can only imagine how you feel! So I will pray for your baby!

I have all the faith in the world that your little girl will grow up to become a perfectly healthy "heart breaking, kick butt name taking, multi-mega money making" grown woman

Hopefully along the way you'll be able to influence her girlie ways and mold her into an Audioholic ;)

Zumbo we unfourtunaly share many similar experiences regarding our kids:(. My little girl had suffered from febrile seziures when she was a baby. It was one of the most frightening moments in my life:(. I was holding her and her eyes rolled back into her head and froth started to form from her mouth. I rushed her to the SICK KIDS hospital and waited for hours in a panic. When the doctor examined her she showed on signs or ill effects. She told us that some babies suffer from these and will eventually out grow them without any adverse or lingering effects.
Take care and hold on because parenthood for some can be a rough ride, Billy p:)

My biggest concern is that he will brain wash her with those MB Quart speakers.

Zumbo I will continue to include your little girl in my thoughts and prayers.

Here is a fact that will make you smile. We had to turn the ringer off on the phone because it would wake Cayla up when she was napping. However, I cranked the Quarts up(LOUD) while DMB was performing on MHD for a neighbor, and Cayla didn't budge. Not even a blink. She was right in the middle of the floor. So, she already loves them.:p:cool:

No seizures today!:)

That's great news! She'll stay in my prayers too. My daughter just hit the 4 month old mark and I still can't believe she's a little person...it's amazing how quickly life changes and how it can't even be described.

Please keep us posted.

LOL, that makes me think of my son who is 4 months old today. He too would wake up if the phone rang or he heard other noises. But, Pink Floyd played at a fairly high volume didn't even make him budge when he slept in his room.:D

Try to enjoy each moment you spend with her. They really do grow up fast.
