Ahhh Bless her little heart :) You have an audiophile in the making Zumbo. Just don't let her near rap and hip-hop. :D
Or techno, jungle, or any other crap that doesn't require the talent of a musician. A musician plays a musical instrument. A microphone, and a turntable are not musical instruments.

Some of you know I am a musician. With that in mind, my daughter will be brought-up in a home with musical instruments at hand. I plan to have many, other than my drums, just to let Cayla have the opportunity to play around with any of them.

If she becomes a musician, fine. If she doesn't, that's fine too. She will, without a doubt, have respect for the art of a musical instrument. And, she will be taught to respect the people who play them.

Well, as soon as she's old enough to type, proper spelling being just a bonus, bring her in to the forum.

May I suggest the name LittleZ?

If you haven't caught DMB on MHD yet, you must. It isn't in 5.1, but the audio quality and picture quality are superb! The band isn't too shabby either.

Had Pediatrician visit today. Went well. She said Cayla looked like a healthy baby. Yep, she was a little too healthy for my little wife. Anyway, nothing special to note from the visit, unless you want to know weight, and measurements.:D

No seizures today. She is getting stronger quick. Two weeks old at this very moment.

That is awesome news, zumbo.

I haven't prayed since I was forced to church as a child. I seriously tried for the first time since then, two nights ago. While I had a bit of a hard time with it, at least I gave a strong serious meditation of some sort for your daughter. I hope someone might have heard me. :)

That's thoughtful of you. Zumbo has thanked everyone for their prayers, and I am glad to see they have been answered.

Good to hear Zumbo.:)

I forgot that your a drummer. I like to hit things with sticks too!

My son is seven and just started guitar lessons. I'd love for him to play something (don't care what) but if nothing sticks at least we gave him the opportunity!

Happy New Year!:) All is well here. Did follow-up visit to NICU. Doctor said all was well. Baby has gained some weight, so we may have to increase the seizure dose a little. For now, she remains on the minimum dose with no sign of seizures. January will be filled with doctor visits. So far, so good.;) It is amazing to look at the critical pictures we have, compared to how she looks three and a half weeks later.:D

Christmas was great. What better gift, than for God to let us have our baby home for Christmas.:D

Wife is still HOT! She weighs less now, than before she got pregnant. Her spirit is well, as well as her faith in God. She is an extremely beautiful person, both outside, and in. She amazes me every day, and this experience has further strengthened our relationship with each other, and with God.

I will keep all of you informed as we see each specialist this month. We will have a couple more follow-ups in February. I have taken all of January off, and will return to work in February. We should have Cayla in daycare midway through February, and then my wife will return to work.

Great news Zumbo. It's good to hear that you are so clear about what is important, and that you have a loving family. What you have cannot be bought, and many people do not have it. Keep the faith.
