Dolphin, Tuna, Salmon, wahoo, any fish not feeding from the reef is safe. The last time I was in Bimini, I met a surgeon whose friend (another doctor) along with his wife were stricken with ciguatera after eating a grouper, the Coast Guard had to send a chopper to pick up the man and his wife, they made a soup with the head and backbone, that's where(along with the viscera and roe) ciguatera poison concentrates, they basically drank concentrated ciguatera, yikes. Google ciguatera, damn scary. I've cut back on reef fish tremendously. The only snapper that I eat are deep water snappers that I usually pull from waters 400-900 feet deep, there are no reefs that deep, no sun, but even those I've curtailed. I'm mostly sticking to salmon and dolphin. DON'T EAT 'CUDAS, PLEASE!
