my wife and kids went to church, so I fired up (Cranked) the sound sound track from Independence Day:eek:

Holy CRAP!!! I mean to say the low end is "massive" = gross understatement.

The low end is so thick it has me pinned on the couch:D:D
My poor dog keeps looking around (startled) and is confused:confused: every time the low end attacks:D

This is going to be a great winter:eek: so long as the police don't showup

Enjoy it while you can. You had me laughing about the dog being startled and confused. :):)

Hi, can someone let me know if the Onkyo 705 runs warm or is pretty hot. I have a 605 that I am thinking of replacing with 705. The 605 is pretty low in heat, just warm.

Do you live in a house or an apartment? I think that distinction alone will be the major determinant on how soon the police will show up... :)

The 705 is hot, ordered fans today.

Tonight while my wife went out I hooked up the SV Sound front and rear speakers. Only thing missing from the system now is the center channel. I'm having a riser made so the speaker can fit under the TV, should have it this coming weekend.

Anyhow, the difference is night and day in terms of sound already. The sound now is thick and meaty = its got some balls now:D

I'm bounching between CSI Miami and a local Radio Station, wow!! Awesome:eek:

Police, shorty I'm sure;)
