Well, I just hooked up the Trinity w/ LFE + L+R Low-Level RCA.
Very DEEP LOW POWERFULL Sound.
Kept all the channels' levels the same @ 65dBC on my four RL-11s. However, I had to turn the Sub levels on my two BP7000SCs down from 12 o'clock to 10 o'clock & the Trinity also @ 10 o'clock to keep all the levels matched. The only thing I played so far was my favorite compilation CD 2-ch. Of course, the only thing that was different was the increased bass. I have not played any movies yet.
But my first impression was the increased walls rattling/shaking all over the house.
My wife said, "Are you trying to bring the house down?"
To be 100% honest, the Two SuberCube Reference Subs inside my Two BP7000SCs can also rattle all the walls in my 3000 sf house. But for some reasons, the Trinity just rattled the walls A LOT MORE. I guess it's because it can go a lot Lower & more Powerful than the BP7000SCs?
So the channel levels (including LFE) are still the same as always at 65dBC, but I guess I'm getting a lot more SubSonics (Significant Vibration of All the walls in the house).
I think I will appreciate this a lot more when I build my 8,000 C.F. HT room.
I will comment more on movies soon.
First Impression: Very Deep Powerful Earthquake Subsonic Sound!
