Little response...

I have posted a request earlier today - little response.
Please help - I want to get myself 2 tower, floor standing, front speakers to go with my plinius p10. No other speakers is needed at this stage. The room size is about 5 x 7 metres. I listen to music aswell as watching movies. Please help with any suggestions as to speaker brand , watt and ohm.
I do not want to spend more than $ 7 000 for both of the front speakers.

Please advise

No offense, but the speakers you are looking at are in pretty rarified territory. The Beginner's and Audiophyte's forum is probably not the best location for such a post. Post this again in the speaker forum and you are sure to get more response.

I hesitate to make any recommendations based on my limited experience auditioning speakers in this range. But I can point you to some manufacturers that have outstanding reputations to begin your search. Try B&W, Usher, Salk, Linn, Focal.JMLabs, Dynaudio, even the Paradigm S8.

How is your availability to audition various brands in S.Africa?

You can get just about anything here in Cape Town, you just order it from overseas - normally at a very high price. Besides the internet we have access to audition various products but not as a variety as you have got in Europe and U.S.

Well, it was my suggestion after all. Really, it's right there in black and white. But after seeing the responses to the same post in the speaker forum, I'm confident it was a good idea.
