I'm jealous

Around Lake Tahoe, we've gotten "teasers" a few times since October - 1 or 2 feet, then summer comes back, melting it all. I've got a season pass for Sugar Bowl that's killing me. Send some of that stuff our way!

It doesn't usually get cold enough to snow in Austin although it does happen sometimes. Instead we get freezing rain that turns to ice and that happens in Jan or Feb. Austin weather is messed up - in the summer when it is 100+ degrees every day it won't rain for months. In the winter when it is cold, it rains almost every day.

Yeah I was wishing for snow..... keep getting the dumb, cloudless, Harley ridin', fishing sunshine and 75 degree temp, what's a caveman to do?

Here in NE New Jersey, we have flurries today, but snow before January is unusual here, particularly with any accumulation at all.

With that said, we got a little over an inch on Sunday. Nothing big, but totally out of the ordinary. Maybe a white Christmas?

Speaking of that, we had a white Christmas about four years ago. That was the first one I could ever remember and, strangely enough, it was Mom's last Christmas.

So far, this has been one of the mildest winters I have seen here in OKC. (That could change in a hurry, though.)

We've got a killer cold front coming through tonight.

Low of around 49F tonight and a high of 75F today. :p

We got about 8" of heavy wet snow and now it is as hard as a rock as it has been quite cold. My back hates heavy wet snow but my brain is too cheap to purchase a snowthrower.

Blame Mazer for bragging about all his hot air.:p
I'm still waiting to hear from Tomorrow and AverageJoe. They got creamed on the Oregon coast. +100 mph wind gust with sustained winds of 80 to 90 mph. Without water, phones and electricity. Basically a hurricane but colder.

I guess that's what you get for making fun of us Floridians and our hurricanes.

I hope they're OK :(
