As most of you know I recently began a speaker build and have realized I no longer need my SMS-1 that was purchased a few months ago due to other electronics I will be buying. So it is up for sale. The unit was purchased from an authorized dealer a few months ago and is in perfect shape with all accessories (case, microphone cables original box and all manuals). Like I said everything is in great condition.

Also my ebay user ID is avaserfi where I have 180+ positive feedback (sales/buying).

I want to close this thread with some feedback. It has truly been my pleasure dealing with avaserfi. I have the SMS-1 now and it is perfect condition, complete and exactly as advertised. Shipping and packaging were done well and promptly. We've had ongoing PM's throughout the sale process and he has kept me up do date at every opportunity. All of our corrospondence has been polite and helpful. I will recommend avaserfi 100% based on my experience if he ever buys or sells anything again.

Oh yeah. Excessively taxed. That's something between me and my government, though. I think I can appeal it and get all or some of the tax back.

The only good way to get something into Canada is to spend a weekend or more in the States, bring stuff back with you and claim your annual personal exemption. Either that, or I think you can have the shipper declare the package as a gift with no value for customs.

Thank you very much Dave. Everything went extremely well on both ends and I am glad to see that. I hope you get some of the taxes back as that was pretty ridiculous. Also, if you need any help let me know. No one should have any hesitation to deal with Dave as I couldn't have imagined a better transaction.
