Wow, I really like that rack. Very clean, yet... powerful looking.

I also like the Idea of making a video. I may do that for my system, simply because it's to hard to photograph.

Thanks. Sheep, that is a Sanus Systems rack. I bought it open box for about $250 delivered awhile back. It was easy to assemble, and tightened up pretty solid. For the video, you should have light, lots of light. In mine you can't even see the Acurus amps on the floor in the shadows, and I didn't have the lighht behind the rig on either so that was dark. YouTube is awesome and was the reason for me buying some digicams. It is cool to send vids internationally to internet acquainances...........

I have always hated the mess of cables over the years of owning stereos. This is my first real rig, and I vowed to be anally neat about cabling. Especially since I invested alot of hard earned cash on the backside of my units, I wanted that part to look neat neat neat.
That is a really nice cabling job you've done on the backside. Much nicer than mine, even though I've put some time into getting mine reasonably clean. But what is that swing arm type thing that looks like it's mounted to the wall? Just curious.

Well, Dave, unfortunately, the current cabling is much messier than what that picture from 6 months ago shows! It takes me about two hours to "clean up" the cables and get them bundled tight and neat.
That is an draftsman's swing arm light that is great for getting light behind the rig when I am working on those pesky cables. That has also been superceded by two small clip on lights that are easy to move up and down the racks shelves.

I feel you man... I have all my gear in a small apartment. I can't wait to get a house and build a theatre in the basement.

Just to mention, I was not making fun of Sheep, two door stops keep my center less "tippy".

Oh don't worry about ol' Sheepsy, he doesn't have any feelings -- the nerve endings to that part of his brain have been severed; kinda like darkman :D
By the way, I too love that stack; very avant-garde yet still beefy looking. Good stuff!

Neat idea. I usually have to drag the rack halfway out into the room to get enough light to see back there.

The swing arm's plastic mount broke. So I bought a couple of nice, black, clip on lights. They clip to the glass mounts of my rack nicely and are easy to move about. My exact style rack is for sale in the audioholics store. I highly reccomend it for looks and build quality.

Here is a new video that shows my new TV, center channel, and SVS passive cylinder sub............TwoTreesUpdatedRig

Nice equipment in the rack there, especially the amp! I'm looking at getting into blu-ray I think....
I was in a similar situation as you when you had the larger RP set in between your speakers, but I had a large entertainment center. When I got my plasma set and credenza, the entertainment center was removed. I was stunned at how much taking the EC out opened up the sound (this was at westcott's recommendation some time ago). It was like getting a completely new speaker system.
