HD-A3 1.3 firmware released

Toshiba released their 1.3 firmware update for the HD-A3 yesterday. It reportedly speeds up load times (now down to 30-40 seconds until picture is displayed....yay!) and resolves the bug on those scratched/persnickety discs, so that the A3 now plays through those defects.

Sorry, but it only shows 1.1 for the A3~ series.
However, the A2~ series was updated to version 2.7, 3 days ago.

(edit: Apparently it's not up on the site yet for manual update but if you initiate an update from your player directly it will update to 1.3)

EDIT #2, I can confirm that version 2.7 for the A2 series DOES speed up load time.
Tested with Shrek 3, and load time for that disc was cut in half.

i played my first hd-dvd last night and i was truly amazed. i have the A2(with the new update, it went smoothly), and i must say i did not notice the slow load times. since it goes directly into the movie i would even say i did not notice that it was slower then dvd's considering all the waiting for warnings/clicking through menus you do on dvd's. But that dam cd drawer, it is so loud i could hear it across the room.... (just kidding, i saw this complaint once and thought it was boarder line retarded).
