I was a little impresed with Wal-Mart's New Release BD selection yesterday when I was off work:

Beowulf & Grendel, Cars, Ratatouille, Transformers, Jack Ryan Collection, Sopranos, Mr. Brooks, Spider-Man Trilogy, Hostel I & II, Meet the Robinsons, Scary Movie, The Invisible, Perfect Stranger, The Reaping, 28 Days Later, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer, Surf's Up, Halloween, Troy: Director's Cut, The Condemned, Home of the Brave, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Underworld, We Are Marshall, Disturbia, Ghost Rider, TMNT, Are We Done Yet?, Wild Hogs, Planet Earth, Vacancy, 300, Face/Off, License to Wed, Top Gun, Hot Fuzz, Batman Begins.

I bet on Nov 20, Wal-Mart will have Die Hard Collection (1-4) & Pathfinder.
And on Dec 4, I bet they will have Independence Day, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. And for Dec 26: Pan's Labyrinth.

I love Wal-Mart.

How did you remember all those titles? Did you take a picture or something?

I hate Walmart. They ran out of players before I got one :) (I hated them before that too though...lol) I've never seen their pricing to be that impressive, only on certain titles (SD DVD), so I really only went there because they were the closest to my work. Now Frys is the closest so no more Wallyworld for me.

No. I've been to Wal-Mart almost everyday for the last month.:D
I've been comparing their prices too.

The Wal-Mart close to me didn't even come close to running out of the $98 Toshiba HD DVD players. I guess people in Oklahoma are even more clueless or apathetic about HD than I thought.

I was going to stop there today and see if I can get transformers in HD. I rented it last night and thought it was the most amazing piece of HD I have ever seen!
Anybody see it there?

I saw Transformers HD DVDs yesterday at one Wal-Mart, and saw it again at another Wal-Mart this morning.

What the hell, are you Mr. Wal-Mart?!? :D

You're a total dichotomy dude. You have all this expensive audio equipment, yet you shop at Wal-Mart every day.

Everything bought at Wal-Mart shows up on the credit card bill as "Wal-Mart", which means "Necessary things bought for the house and kids." Anything else (like Best Buy) raises a Red Flag to the wife as "Unnecessary" & "What did you buy again?":D

There are Wal-Marts everywhere around here. One close to home, one close to work. So far I find myself all alone at the "High Definition Movies" section at Wal-Mart. Probably 90% of all people who go to Wal-Mart don't even know what Blu-ray is.

So how did you sneak the Def-Techs past her? They don't sell those at Wal-Mart, plus I would think a $5,000 Wal-Mart charge would still raise a red flag.

LOL.:D

That took years of planning.:D

Phase 1: Direct Deposit to Secondary Account---HT Allowance or Piggy Bank.
Phase 2: Sell NHT + PS3 + HK247 to brother.

Phase 3: "Honey, my brother is begging me to sell him my system. I can use this money to buy some huge speakers at a great price. You know those people who sell speakers from their vans? Those speakers are probably stolen, so they have to sell them dirt cheap."

Phase 4: Purchase & Delivery on off-work day & set up everything before wife gets home.

Phase 5: Repeat Phase 3.:D

Now that's even funnier. She hates it when you spend money on "unnecessary" things, but buying stolen merchandise is okay? That makes sense. :D
