One more question for the Onkyo TX-SR605

With all of my A/V equipment running into my receiver (360, PS3, and dvd player), will the A/V selector on the receiver always be set to DVD? The receiver is connected to a single HDMI out to my Sony XBR2.

You'll set the selector on the receiver to whichever component you want to use. The name of the selection depends on which set of jacks you used on the back. For example, if you plugged the 360 into "Video 2", then you'd select "Video 2" to watch and hear the 360.

No not quiet. What you will want to do is run everything to your receiver and then run the one HDMI to the TV. Set the TV on the appropriate input and you are golden from that respect. On the Onkyo you will have the ability to change the source from HDMI 1, Component 1, and whatever you have the DVD player connected via. Whichever you choose will be the signal transmitted to the TV. Also, you should be able to change the name from HDMI 1 to PS3, Component 1 to Xbox etc...

With the HDMI and possibly the Component settings you will have to assign them to certain settings on the receiver. For example on my receiver the default setting for where my PS3 is connected was VDP so I assigned it to HDMI One and renamed it PS3.
