Hi everyone, I am Gregg. I used to have a pretty decent setup when I lived in Japan, actually I had several decent setups, since I kept buying and selling things.
I think my favorite setup was the following:

Onkyo P-308 preamp
Onkyo M-508 Amp (x2)
DBX 5bx
Teac R888 cassette (x2)
Denon DJ CD deck (x2)
Technics 1200 turntable (x2)
DBX equilizer
Klipsch horns and La Scala

Anyway, over the years i sold/traded things and now have nothing to speak of I have a surround sound system and that is about it.

I am searching for some things, perhaps some of the items I used to own, in particular Klipsch speakers and Onkyo M508 amp. Anyway, I am here and will continue looking around. Every time I did a search I was prompted to post, so here it is!

The M-508 amps are pretty hot commodity on Ebay. Generally not cheap as far as used amps are concerned.

Well, I have heard them called klipsch horns, klipschhorns and corner horns. I know I bought mine BRAND new while in Japan for 1800 (Great price on a military base) and really regret selling them, but I had no place to keep/use them since I moved back to Japan right after getting out of the military.

I do not have room for klipschhorns at my current house (well, room, yes, 2 good corners to put them in, no), but I am house hunting now and may buy another house by January or so, and while having good corners is a nice thing, so I can get another pair of these beautiful, great sounding (IMO) speakers, it will not be a deal breaker, so I will probably be more interested in getting La Scalas, so i will continue my search.

Thank you for the offer, that is not a bad price considering they were selling for $3600 at the time I bought mine in 1988 (USA price).

I think he is refering more to the possibility of damage considering their location and mention of not looking the best. Also, no offense meant, but the way you post is quite odd. I would assume you are not foreign, but if you are please correct me.

As far as LOOKING..They were in a NIGHT CLUB for a long time.....and they sat High up in the CORNERS and the CLUB OWNER would..Staple POSTERS to the FRONT of them....And when the Bar closed and I actualy saw them with the LIGHTS ON.....I had to buy them....So they"re not in the BEST of SHAPE but its only a Wood venneer that goes on the Front...No biggie...but if you like GREAT SOUND...and dont care about LOOKS then..these are the SPEAKER for you...I could care less if i sell em or NOT...I figured I would help the GUY out if he really wanted them...And NO Im not a foriegner.....Im from PHILLY..!! so.." YO..!! get used to the TYPIN STYLE..!!

No offense meant, it just seemed a little elementary given the circumstances. If you think it is cool, whatever, but it doesn't look good when you are trying to sell something, especially when we are talking $2,500. Would you want to buy a new car, or even a used car from someone that talked like this.."YO, this car is Phat! You should totally buy it because it don't got that many miles on it and stuff!"? I know I wouldn't want to buy from someone that talks, types like that.

I am not trying to pick at you, but if you make posts like that you probably won't get any credibility and the chance that someone would buy such and expensive item from you is unlikely given the circumstances. Also, the Username doesn't aid you in appearing professional.

Just trying to help you out, my intent is not to make you feel unwelcome or to be rude.

Ya know, I'm the one that called you out. Primarily because you never heard of Queen (in one of your previous posts). I was going to apologize...cuz a number of the old fogeys around here may have never heard of Queen. That's all right.

But your continued humility and tact has made up my mind. If you want to offload your Klipsch's, may I suggest the classifieds? Maybe you can offload your HEATED garage there too. Not boasting? I think not. Like Sheep wrote, the capitals and plethora of pauses ("...") is tiring, and does not lend itself to serious (or even half-serious) discussion with you. If you want to continue posting here without raising suspicion and making others thinking that you're shouting, drop the boasts and the capitals. Just a little friendly advice legend. Cheers.
