Hello Frankenstiens

I'm trying to have a 7.1 setup but my bose system only has 6.1 output from the subwoffer. How did you add more cubes to your setup. My reciever does have a 7.1 output.

Thanks

More cubes...

The set up on the back is a bit like my on line name...

The passive sub from Bose uses the "Bose proprietary" RCA jack and cable, this was for the usual 5.1 system, I used these jacks for the sourround , and rear. The forward Speakers are plugged directly to the corresponding jacks on the receiver. the trick to this was to get the powered Bose sub to recieve an input signal, on the back of the Sony there is a "Zone 2 RCA out put, This plugged into the back of the Sub, while having the power interface from the original Bose deck plugged in. I set the Bose Deck to AUX, and this provides the audio signal.

To connect the other 2 Klipsh Subs, I used an RCA Splitter at the first Sub, Once all was set up I adjusted the Gain and Freq Dials on the rear... to Balance out the system........

One spot in a movie that really got my attention... Star Wars Episode II, There is s scene where Boboo Fet assassinates his hired assassin, he fires a shot that comes from across the Right shoulder and down center... I had forgotten about that scene... Made me jump.

To Close the Ceiling in as to hide the speakers we purchased about 60yds of a dark brown, blackish colored mesh fabric. When the room is complete this will give the impression of a cave, or Mine shaft...

People will pile on to criticisize Bose systems and usually with good reason because you can do far better for less money. But, if it meets your needs and sounds good to you, that is all that matters.

Beating me to it? Sure, if I had any intention of saying that, which I didn't.

I would advise you against doing that. Not only the fabric in front of speaker alters the sound, when spread out that much in the room, it will absorb high frequency and make the whole system sound dull.

By the way, Jango Fett is the bounty hunter who fired the dart. Boba Fett is his son who takes over the role when he grows up. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0607325/
