bi-amping
So considering that the MPS-1 has modular mono blocks could I buy two extras and bi-amp my mains off of them (I am just planning on running 3 channels with it so it will have 4 more available)
You're talking about passive bi-amping? So you're going to use a Y-cable and split one-Left into two-Lefts and one-Right into two-Rights? Which Y-cables are you looking at? Blue Jeans Cable?
I'm "Tri-amping" my main L/R and "Quad-amping" my Center
How's that possible?
Well, for my Mains, that's one amp for the internal subwoofer, one amp for the tweeters, and one amp for the midrange/bass
For my Center, that's one amp for the internal sub, one amp for the tweeter, and one amp for each midrange/bass drivers
