Thanks to Mazer for pointing me to this thread.

I like the package with 450's in the back and front. I was thinking about buying those speaker stands for rear bookshelf speakers, then figured might as well get tower speakers instead as an easy solution.

Seems like I missed out on this GC deal...what was it? I don't see it anywhere on these links, maybe they already took it down since its the end of the day?

I wonder if they can do a great deal for this package like they're doing for the other 450 package.

So, assuming I go with the AV123 Rocket RS450's in back and front, will standard 12-guage speaker cable, maybe with some screw-on banana clips, be good enough for them, or do I need something else?

Guess I'll have to find a good sub for those, too. Any suggestions?

I am going with the Swans :CHEERS:... 5.1 and C3 up front... For the rears, Would the 4.1s or 2.1, R3, or R2 on stands be better for movies/gaming? I will prob just use 2.1 or 2.0 for music. Thanks.

The Polk RTi(RTxxxi) series has always been the baseline Polk for me personally. The LSi series is demanding for some setups due to impedence but are night and day from the RTi.

I've met Mark(AV123) and he's a real audio nut. It was hard to get a demo in the Venetian due to all the people in there

Swan is another neat speaker and I'm sure you'll have fun with them.

Spoke with a very nice man named Jeff and purchased the following:

RS450 x4
RSC200
MFW-15

Package price of 2551, includes free shipping for the speakers, paid freight for the sub.

With the 10% GC deal (ended yesterday, but he gave it anyway, gotta love it), final price of 2320.

Can't complain about that. I think I'm more excited about the sub coming than the speakers.

And yes, he knew who Mazer is.
