First off welcome to the forums.

Secondly, you spent way way way too much on cables. Next time you need them check out monoprice.com or bluejeanscables.com both have equal quality if not better cables than monster for far less.

Lastly, the compression and distortion you are hearing from your speakers when they are turned up is probably a lack of quality speakers. It looks like you got a home theater in a box which are generally lacking in the quality area as they traded quality for convenience. If you really want to overcome this problem upgrades are in order :).

One big question then: Why did you spend more on your cables than you did your speakers?

AH hahahaha Lol... :p

I pamperd My DVD Player with the two lines.

To be honest with you, IF the noise inerferance was gone, the Sound quality would be hard to beat even agianst $500 - $700 dollar systems.

It does look bad thoe, not TOO proud of it. BUT............................

Honestly your best bet is to start over and get new speakers, if you want to be able to turn up the volume without distortion the speakers you have don't seem to be able to handle it. Boom boxes just aren't made to be percise and musical they are made to be loud. If you don't want to buy anything new, turn the volume down to levels where there are no distortion. If you are willing to spend 500 bucks I promise you that speakers can be had that are far better than what you are using now.

It doesn't sound like you have a groundloop problem because you don't hear this distortion at lower volume levels.

FYI I think Greg might have been messing with you ;).

Thanks a Bunch!!

Is there realy NO way to get that sound down? I was planning on going all digital as soon as the HD and Blue Ray are done Dukeing it out. However much cash it takes, BUT for now I would like to do what I can to get the sound as low as possible.

So once more, I'm running an Audio cable (standard coax Red/White) from the back of my TV to a Stereo Front input. The input is for a headphone jack. I went to Radio Shack and purchased this cable, a whopping $6.99!! :p

I JUST cut up a bunch of Garden Hose, spray painted them Black, cut the pieces down the side, then I put one around each power cable and my speaker wires. Also my Cable TV wire. QUESTION: Is it ok to wrap the Sub Woofer wires along with the regular speaker wires??

For Power I'm useing Two Surge Protectors and both are running out of the same power outlet (top and bottom). I have three things plugged in to each one. QUESTION: Could the Noise be comeing from the Surge Protectors??

The Audio Cable above (TV to Stereo) is sheilded with gold tips. I looks well made. Is there a better one out there that might be MUCH better than Radio Shack brand??

I hate going in to my Local Radio Shack, because they don't know a dang thing about anything!! They make ME feal like I could work their.
No, I'm smarter than I have been sounding my first day here. It's more, I REALLY Wanna make this work and say "TAKE THAT YOU STUPED NOISE!!"
I know once I go ALL Digital I wont really ever have to worry about this sort of thing but for now PLEASE HELP me kill the noise inerferance. :)

THANKS

Post links to the gear you are using please. Also, do you hear this interference at lower volume levels? If you don't all that time with your garden hose was most likely wasted.

Don't bother getting expensive cables, they are a waste. Check out the sites I mentioned earlier.

samsungson....If you think that sounds good I agree with Greg, more power too you. If you want to hear something many people on this forum consider quality sound I suggest going av123.com and checking out their x-ls speakers, they are inexpensive and you can return them for free (they will pay shipping both ways if you are not satisfied).

I am pretty sure you won't ever want to listen to that thing again after hearing real speakers.
