He/she might have tried already. I googled it to try to help, and I kept coming up short. Someone might have the magic search phrase, though, and get it right away...

What inputs/outputs are on the back?

What controls are on the front?

Does your receiver have a "tape monitor" switch and corrosponding inputs and outputs on the back?

What general questions do you have?
