What movies for "testing" new HT

About to get my HT set up in my new home next week and CANT WAIT!!!

My question is what are some good "wow" DVD's to show off my system with?

Those bass scenes and high contrast filming really makes this the best for showing off your system's capabilities

I would also go with classic action packed films like Milo and Otis. Or perhaps the wild antics of crocadile dundee!

Actualy I really enjoy almost any new animated films. Most have great big budgets for making the sound incredable(finding nemo, the rescuers down under, cars, robots, the list goes on). Other wise stick to the epics man. LOR and star wars. New bond movies can be pretty nice too. Titanic and pearl harbor are pretty impressive cinematic movies.

I got that one!!! Too bad it's HD-DVD and not Blu-ray. I'd love to see Janine in HD detail.


But to be serious dude, the reason that everyone's being a smart-*** is that this subject has been covered a BILLION times. Just go to the DVD section and do a search. You'll find TONS of info.

For shear WOW FACTOR, the 1st battle sceen(1-4) in Master & Commander! It goes from nothing to OMFG without warning.
My personel favorite and switch the audio setting for DTS playback!

I nearly wet myself when I was out of the blue watching Toy Story 2...
