Well.........after removing one of my 30 ft HDMI cables, form "in" wall installation, I took it to my Local retailer and asked them to conect it to a system. I got the same results...no signal and a 'check cable' warning.
I called Samsung and they were of little help, no surprise there.
Samsung support said that they don't recommend or support more than 3 to 6 feet HDMI and 6 to 8 feet in Component.
Not having a good time here

I plan on trying some different lenghts, plus a different brand.
If it's a issue with Samsung having to use short cables...well then it's back to the drawing board for the whole (newly furnished and finished) livingroom.
Including the new cabinet I built to house all my A/V equipment in it's new location.
Talked to supplier...they will replace them if faulty...too late for refund.
But I will have to $hip and if the cables are not faulty ...I'll have to pay to have them $hipped back to me.
Also talked to Blue Jeans...they are sure their cable will work, and were quite helpful. They have a new HDMI cable coming out later this year..."more power"...arrrrrhh...arrrrrrhh !
I have another post re: Samsung cable issues ?....no replies yet
Thanks for your concern
