Sorry DENON 3805 I would like to hook up a seperate amp to power my outdoor speakers. I know that the 3805 can be configured on its own to do that but it wont feed digital signals to that zone 2 or 3. Can someone tell me where I can hook up the rca feeding the outdoor amp so I can listen to both analog and digital feeds from the Denon.

Thanks

It cannot be done, and basically all separate amps are going to have analog inputs only as well. One reason it does this is because there is no processing for the other zones, so no digital support. What I did for a customer was simply connect the stereo analog feeds to the receiver for the sources that he wanted to be able to listen to in other zones and it worked fine. I think only the 5805 does pass digital to other zones.

Thanks for the great idea. Works great, besides who needs digital quality while sipping mojitos by the pool. :D
