...and other ramblings.
Windows explorer decided yesterday that it didn't want to load anymore. It would work in safe mode and I tried everything within my limited experience to get it working correctly but it just came to the point where a fresh install was just the easier thing to do. I ended up only losing a few emails so it wasn't all that bad.
I'm thankful that the Dell XPS models still come with installation/driver disks and for a firefox add-on called Foxmarks, which uploads all your bookmarks to a server so all you have to do is type in a user-name and password and you can download them on to any system running firefox.
I got a little video from a firefight we were involved in with some insurgents on my very last mission in Iraq. They shot at the Iraqi National Police we were with when they tried to get on a road that runs parallel to the Tigris River. I'll have it uploaded plus a couple more when I get home...which I'm hoping is very, very soon.
My hearing is back to normal(for me anyways) today, between the constant bursts of gunfire and the the two hour ride in the back of a Bradley I had my own personal fire alarm ringing in my head.
What I would have done for a bottle of whiskey yesterday.
