Sean - I've got a car, and the engine is making a funny noise, I need some help to fix it - is a DIY project?
You see how that question doesn't provide any real information that can get me an answer, even from people who may be experts?
1. What is your technical expertise? That is, when you go up to the display are looking at it trying to see how to take the screen off? At this point you aren't going to really do MORE damage to it by pulling the screen off the display, so try to figure out how the screen comes off.
2. You've already been asked for a model number - so provide it. I have a Chevy is not the same as saying "I have a 4 cylinder 2003 Cavalier" - so the model number actually matters.
3. There was a link to the parts for a replacement screen above. Did you plug in your model number to find out how much a replacement screen would run? Odds are good that it would be similar to what is listed.
I personally have seen screens that pop right on/off of displays with just a couple of screws - or even just slide down channels into place quite easily. Others have been bolted in place from what seems like behind and are very difficult to get at. But, unless someone here actually has a Toshiba and actually has had a need to pull their screen apart, then you aren't likely to get that much luck.
So, have you called Toshiba? Have you looked up the model number and seen what a replacement screen will cost you? Have you looked at the owners manual for Toshiba customer service? Their number is in the manual (using a 56" DLP from them for this example that I am forced to guess at)...

Finally - have you asked on AVSForum? While that site can get pretty hectic, there is a much larger pool of people that may have some answers available.
