New Bedroom setup with Tice Clock

I got me a sweet system today for my bedroom, and although it's not as good as my reference system.... it still makes your ears bleed.

What a beauty!

The amp is a Technics SA-925 reference digital amplifier cranking out 450 watts at 2 ohms. The speakers are Maeggieo HRT-580A Knotulus with a power rating of 230 watts at 4 ohms. The Tice Clock below adds significant power to the amp, further increasing it's sonic attributes.

Attached to the sweet setup is a Sunfire Treu' Chud Subwoofer that is mean and deep, but yet so small, it looks like a smoke detector

I filter all the power with a Mapleshade VX-340 Resonant Noise Mains filter. The directions say to place the neodydonum rock at it's longest points facing north and south, and place the trap to the south so that it will effectively trap all EMI and electroharmonic resonation in the rock.

I use a Onkyo DX-1500 for the rugged, reliable transport and balance and support it with acoustical foam and 12 lightweight springs (not easily shown) to reduce vibrations from the earths crust and myself shaking the room. This reduces jitter by 142%. To it's left, a Digital Matrix VR-67 timing voltage amplifier that hooks to a Audioquest ADC-FR505 DAC for awesome audio output:

It is timed and stabilized by the best oscillating clock on the market, the Theater Innovations OSC-680UR, which does and AWESOME job of timing the DAC.

My reference system is a BLOZ 32-1 system.

The biggest improvement of both systems was using this during listening sessions:

I'm sorry but that doesn't look like a real 'tice clock'. The real tice clock is digital and looks very much like a Radio Shack clock radio.

You may be limiting the true fidelity of your system by using a knock-off analog clock. ;)

How is that resonant noise filter working out? It looks very much like the mess in my oven after I've made baked potatoes wrapped in tin foil. Hmmm...you think I should put that on top of my receiver?

You should really just cryfreeze your receiver for the best performance. Of course I recommend that you make other upgrades like a break-in device for your cables, I hear they have adjustable ones now so you can tweak cables to have different sonic characteristics than they originally came with. So if you want warm, tube like sounding cables you can use the Break-in device to "adjust" the cables to perform as such.

Results are best when directly shorting speaker terminals IN your reciever.... however I didn't have a screwdriver to place it in the reciever ;)

And the Analog Tice clock... well... it's an older Tice model from the 1840's made for tube radios :D :p

As for the cables, I break them in with a 12 VDC 900 amp current device direct shorted for 10 seconds. Then I immerse the cable in McDonalds used french fry oil to reflect any unwanted harmonics and also make the wire a massive superconductor.... the oil itself lends a characteristic of a screaming weasel in a briar patch... it sounds lovely :D :D :D

I cannot wait untill this reaches the second page so I don't have to load the pictures each time.

You forgot to mention that immediately after soaking the cables in hot McDonalds fry oil, you must freeze them with crygenetical enhancers to enhance the awesome..............I have no idea what is going on.:D

Crygenetical? Cryrogenical :D
And it's pepper you put in the sauce....it makes the sound like a fiesta kitteh...

No, crygenetical!!! Using genetically enhanced cryo-stuff, you can freeze the electronics without actually changing the stereo, meaning this whole process does nothing to help your system. So anyway this helps your system.:D

That post was......my brain just shut off.

At least I am on to the second page, I was tired of horizontal scrolling.:(

I get it! Extract the DNA from the cables and then cryo freeze it. Then add the cryo frozen DNA to the used McDonalds Fry oil and cook the cables in it for 1.37 hours. Ah...sonic bliss.

You guys have way too many good ideas. :D

Thanks, but I like mine a little more. Remember my target market? I can't have a company with a hard to remember name, I won't get any business.:)

The clock is for the CD player . How will it clock the bits properly otherwise?
