Anyone Familiar With Security Camera's?

I'm looking to add one, possibly two, inexpensive security cameras so I can see who is at the door. This would be inside and pointing at the lobby door. Preferably color with some sort of lowlight/ night visibility.

I saw some for around $100 or less that were wireless, but I'm unsure about quality. I'm only going about 30-50'. The plan would be to run it into my tv. Sound is not important, just picture. I'd like the PQ to be decent. Possibly, I'd like something I may be able to use with a small lcd screen by the door intercomm and still be able to route it to an input on my tv. There is already an intercomm system that I'm not able to replace, this would have to add visual to the audio that is already there.

Has anyone done something similar? If so, what'd it run? Any recommendations?

I've been searching online, but I find useless info on the cheaper stuff and the commercial/professional/ higher quality stuff is pretty expensive.

Thanks for, I had considered those and a few others. How is the Picture Quality on those? I don't want to buy something that I can't really see anything with. Does anyone use security cameras and how are they?

When you do get them consider picking up a couple of fake ones too. They are indistinguishable from the real ones and they really add to that sense of paranioa.

Actually I'm looking into them because I live in a "garden apartment." Which loosely translates to a basement with no real windows. I was going to put something in the lobby (my friend owns the building and ok'd it) so I can see outside or who's hitting my buzzer or if the post office dropped my stuff off.

I think i'm going to pick up one of those cheap models from Home Depot for $50 and see how it is. I can always return it if the PQ is too poor.

Oh, that's different. Yeah, the fake ones are kinda pointless if you're not into making people FEEL like they're being watched. You actually wanna watch them. I see......
