It's a two-disc package; the first one is new material, the second is a live set of some of their greatest hits. Also, I agree their original stuff might be described as "tepid" to those whose tastes run to flashier music, I always liked their acoustic material for its catchy guitar/harmony work. My favorite air guitar song of all time is their "Sandman"

Believe it or not, they have done about 20 albums since the 70's (see www.allmusic.com) and have a new one coming out. They may have never named their horse, but they keep the "hits" coming.

I like their sound, Tin Man brings back lots of great memories also Ventura Highway. Not only that, but it was fun learning their stuff on guitar, simple yet melodic.

I think a lot of us were , er, rather oblivious to a lot of things in those days. They made some of the best "feel-good" music of the day, IMHO. Besides that, it was easy to sing. ("A Horse with No Name" was probably the only totally monotone hit song ever!)
