I used to think maintaining a constant AC voltage was the key to optimal audio performance, but then an expert explained to me what's actually most important is maintaining a constant barometric air pressure against my woofer cones. . . . or else the transient response of kick drums becomes sloppy/indistinct and without dynamic impact.
