Check your home’s voltage now. When that happened to me, the power company had a failing regulator. I literally prevented a catastrophe in the local area.

I don't know if they should be blamed for this- a usable panel-mounted digital voltmeter can be bought for a couple of dollars and I doubt they would skimp on that........

They sold a lot of unnecessary gear is why I don't trust them much....it's pretty old and things fail....

I like my Monster Power Conditioners and Voltage Regulators. They work well and seem to do what they are supposed to do. I have 3 AVS2000s and the one just shows that the outpost voltage is in the 130s…not sure whether Im

I never liked their cables and habit of suing companies that used 'Monster' in their names, as if Munster Cables coined the word.

Check several different outlets in the home.

Well sure "clean" power might initially sound like a good idea but what about the electricity's focus and depth? How do we know these devices aren't smearing that? I mean after all, these Monster products are pretty cheap as these things go.

Before dissing the op's gear, do a little research. The AVS 2000 is not like your typical line filter that simply provides a little surge protection and does no voltage correction. The Monster unit has a computerized servo motor connected to a variable transformer. It's like an automated variac. This provides both overvoltage and undervoltage protection (between 80V and 140V). I can't comment on how good surge protection is without doing more research.

If you have 3 of these units and only one is reporting 130V on the output, then that is not a line voltage issue. If the voltage at the panel was an issue, all 3 units would be reporting the same overvoltage on the input. Since this is only on the output of one unit, the issue is with that unit.

These units have dangerous levels of current. Do not attempt any repair unless you have a lot of experience repairing electronics. The problem you will have fixing this is that Monster does not release service manuals. You might find a repair shop willing to look at it, but without a service manual many shops won't touch it.

What you have is useless and fools gold. This is how you protect your equipment properly.

Get rid of the piece of junk you are using now.

1). Get your home up to current NEC code. That means an SPD-1 surge protector at electrical entry to your home and an SPD-2 surge protector at every electrical panel. Most homes just have one.

2). An uninterruptible power supply. This is surge protection at your equipment that shaves and boost over or under voltage and switches to battery for severe alteration in supply and gives a smooth shut down when the battery runs out. APC are the leaders in this. Monster Junk contributes zero to proper protection.

Do it right or not at all. I have told you how to do it right.

I used to think maintaining a constant AC voltage was the key to optimal audio performance, but then an expert explained to me what's actually most important is maintaining a constant barometric air pressure against my woofer cones. . . . or else the transient response of kick drums becomes sloppy/indistinct and without dynamic impact.

I'm sure all of you have heard examples where your music lacked punch and a crisp snap. Now you know why, and how to fix it. The expert who explained the problem to me also happens to sell the solution. How convenient!

I would ask OP if all three on the same 120V breaker or the other 120V of the 240V feed.
If same, yes, you are right, if not, perhaps there may be a neutral line issue?

Any mention about the tweeters?
Maybe absolute polarity is messed up?
