Well it looks like the EU are considering what they need to do to get oil flowing through the straits of Hormuz - and specifically, seriously considering Iran's offer of paying toll & purchasing oil directly in Euro or Yuan.

This takes one of the major foundations out from under the US$ (aka "Petrodollar") - which in turn may well drive a rise in interest rates and inflation as the underpinnings supporting the huge US debt start to be removed...

This may well be a far more dangerous move on Iran's part, than the missiles and drones they have fired.

If the EU/Nato agrees to this - then they will resolve their oil issues (albeit with a toll fee)...and Iran will strike a massive blow agains the US economy.
This will also massively boost BRICS, and could well lead to further mass movements of nations off the US$ as a reserve currency, further exacerbating US economic woes.

The destruction wrought by Trump is far broader and deeper than most people realise, and fixing the damage will take decades, if it can be done at all.

This is the real threat and not just related to the current war. Americans believe they have been subsidizing Europe, NATO, Korea, etc. and will soon realize the subsidies go both ways in a system that up until now allowed the U.S. to accumulate a quarter of the world's wealth.

Seriously, I have no life.
That is one dumb analogy.
Who is being considered doesn't matter, you characterized all Maga-ites as being in favor of the guy who attacked Paul Pelosi and that's ridiculous. Nobody should be OK with what he did.

I'm so excited with what Trumpy will do to Iran, when the 48hrs are up.....lol

From what I have read, Iran's weapons are deep in Granite rock mountains. Safe and sound. Long story short. Sounds like the only way to destroy Iran's missiles and drones, is use of ground troops, to blow up the entrances. I can't imagine all the booby trapped bombs.

Why don't the Republicans come to reality, how much Trump is deranged and lies all the time. I guess, that're, "Dumb as Rocks!" And looked at that way, in my book.

It sure will be of some help come November, the House and Senate turn more Democratic, for our Democracy sake. I hope our Supreme Court has Common Sense, to reject anything Trump proposes.

I hope Trumps Ballroom idea is crushed forever.

I don't really think Republicans are dumb. They're not going to risk their seats challenging Trump. Whether or not you agree with that is up to you. Also, I think in terms of vibe the SC is doing ok. I laugh when a Trump appointee votes against him. I'm sure Mr. Clark could say better than I could on how well the SC is handling this under the Orange Fanta. :)

While I'm not sure if I believe that this conversation took place, I absolutely believe that Trump wouldn't know that Canada has a monarchy.

An excerpt provided to CBC News includes conversations between Hardman and the president where Trump brought up his interest in taking over Greenland.

"I replied that this would probably destroy NATO and, while we were on the subject, could he please leave Canada alone too," Hardman wrote. The two men spoke in December last year in Florida.

"It had been a staunch ally through history, a gallant D-Day partner and attempting to acquire it would undoubtedly make the King of Canada unhappy," Hardman added.

According to Hardman's recounting of the conversation, Trump paused at that note and asked the British journalist whether Canada still recognized King Charles as its head of state.

"Do they still recognize the King? Or have they stopped that?" Trump said, according to Hardman.
