Wisdom+Paradigm vs KEF+SVS vs MoFi+KEF+HSU

One of my cousin is unable to decide which setup he should get. He got 3 setups offered for his Basement 23x16x9(LxWxH)

1. Wisdom Audio + Paradigm Setup:
Wisdom Insight P6i x 3(Front LCR)
Paradigm CI Pro P1-LCR v2 x 4(Surrounds)
Paradigm CI Pro P65-R v2 x 4(Atmos)
Paradigm SFC12-SW + X500 x 2(Subwoofers)

2. KEF + SVS Setup:
KEF Ci5160RLM-THX x 3(Front LCR)
KEF Ci3160RLM-THX x 4(Surrounds)
KEF Ci200RR-THX x 4(Atmos)
SVS 3000 In-wall x 2(Subwoofers)

3. MoFi + KEF + HSU Setup:
MoFi Sourcepoint 10 x 3(Front LCR)
MoFi Sourcepoint 8 x 4(Surrounds)
KEF Ci200RR-THX x 4(Atmos)
HSU ULS-15 MK2 x 4(Subwoofers)

The usage is strictly for Movies. Which will be the Best. I am thinking it be MoFi for Dynamics and heavy hitting. Followed by KEF for its Clarity Detail. Followed by Wisdom Audio for its wide sound-stage.

What will be the best in your opinion.

The Hsu system will have the most powerful bass by a long shot. I do think the KEF THX in-walls are some of the few really good ones. My guess is that the Mofi stuff is decent too. I would probably go with the MoFi + Hsu sub system since that bass would be killer.

I assume they could switch things around - like KEF in-wall speakers + HSU in-room subs.

In general with all things being equal, I would prefer speakers and subs with bigger more dynamic drivers, instead of smaller drivers.

Okay yes I was thinking the same. And all three are stock recommendations so can switch stuff a bit but staying in same budget range. Like we cannot add more In-Wall SUBs as that will become expensive.

So KEF + HSU SUBs give us Best Result. Interesting. I did not think of that. But if going in-wall I think they would stick to in-wall SUBs too.

But seriously @shadyJ , @AcuDefTechGuy please can you give me Pros and Cons of Wisdom Audio speakers when compared to KEF and MoFi. I have first hand experience with KEF and MoFi but have no idea about Wisdom Audio speakers.

I would never choose IW subs. Ever. And would easily recommend the HSU’s of the ones on the list here. I would also choose ported(maybe the newish TN-1), but having 4 sealed 15’s will still have decent 20hz output and will be pretty crazy from probably 25 up to 40hz. There are a lot of subwoofer options out there.

Yes I know. Seriously at that point he could possibly even get 4x DIY 18" Dayton Ultimax II sealed done. That is if he plans to get stuff done DIY. That would get his down to 10-15hz easy. Specially with 4 of them. Even with those 4 sealed HSU SUBs he should be able to get down to 20-25hz.

But still main issue for me is having no idea about Wisdom Audio. So I just want to know but about that brand and how they sound etc.

Okay I read through it and I have come to a conclusion. Correct me if I am wrong. It seems like Wisdom Audio speakers are good to maintain equal sound level across seats and at longer distance provide wide sound stage. But when it comes to depth of field it falls flat. So if we want to have uniform experience across the seats and at longer distance then It is good.

But here this got me wondering that Concentric Design speakers try to achieve similar uniformity across wide seating position. Yes it may loose a bit of sound at longer distances compared to line source. But then it has benefit of having depth of field which line source lacks.

I am also not so sure on its imaging capabilities. I see some people saying it is not great at that while some arguing that it is. I am confused in that aspect. Also most been only discussing very high end stuff it seems. P6i been mention but not a lot. But I am guess they follow similar profile but at a lower grade. So that makes me loose even more confidence.

Hard to say without finding somewhere to hear them but they are higher end then any bestbuy here would carry. Who has actually heard MTM Planar Magnetic Driver??? Wait and see I guess … advanced stuff .
