Wondering if someone can help or shed some light on the issue I'm having.

* Oppo 105d has absolutely no analog output sound from the 7.1 part, the dedicated stereo (XLR & RCA) part and also the headphones.

Previously it was intermittently dropping out, but now there's nothing and all the setting in audio processing have disappeared from the menu as well (regarding stereo, headphones etc) WEIRD.

Thanks everyone.

Obviously the analog output board has had a serious failure.

if the HDMI outputs work then use those. Oppo are out of business and this unit can not be repaired.

I have found that there is a supply of the board you need. The failure of the analog board is far from unknown on these players.

Try a full reset, try two or three times. If that fails then this is the board you need, and you will have to instal it.

Seriously, I have no life.

A link to that supply place might help him if he wants to try and replace it, doubtful, or he could find someone to replace it for him.

A few years ago, my 103 had issues reding the disc. Company owner, probably, sold a new one to me and I replaced mine. Still works.

Somehow my link dropped off. I have replaced it and it works again. I have no idea how this happened.
It should not be too difficult to replace that board. The price is steep though, for an old board. Apparently people like those players, but personally I think they were way overrated. I think you could buy a new player for close to the cost of that board. I would not call them Chinese junk, but I think they were getting darn close.
