Playing metal music

Hi,
Can someone please direct me to some audio-system capable of playing metal music with good quality?
It is for living room. Will home theater be enough to play death or black metal?

Any competent audio system is blind to the content it plays, so whatever it reproduces should sound great no matter the genre. For metal, I would be looking at tower speakers just to make sure the dynamic range is sufficient. Look at Focal, Klipsch, Paradigm, MartinLogan, Revel, JBL, SVS, just to name a few manufacturers.

How loud, home theater loud or car stereo with tons of bass? Big difference, from the design standpoint.

Home theater loud is enough but bass should be decent
You need to be specific- 'decent' might be OK for some, but it's not close to what others want. I did car audio for a long time- 'a lot of bass' or 'decent' tells me nothing. Decent to some means "people can hear it two blocks away".
