My mom broke both her legs just below the knees last Friday(passed out walking in her house). They fitted her with some screws and started PT a couple days ago. Going to drive from CO to IA this upcoming Friday in the EV to see her, it will be our first long drive in it. Already have the route/charging planned out with the app ABRP (a better route planner).
I was just about to start an Audyessy calibration until my dog decided it was a good time to start eating and the AC kicked on.
Wow. Good luck to your Mom. That sounds bad

Participated in Whatf to Wharf 10k for 8th year. Runs along the CA. coast. It was a blast as always.

Tackled the spotty upstairs wifi once again, this time I bought a moca adapter. After figuring out what coax cable was what in the basement, my eldest has her gaming PC hardwired to the network. I'll get another router and bridge it.

Did you get your NACS adapter ordered for the Ioniq? I requested mine back in like April or something and they keep sending notices saying "will ship soon..." but still hasn't actually shipped. Though at work they are all Chargepoint, there are more Tesla chargers around where I live. The lease is up next May, but we may consider buying it out this year or turning it in and buying a 25 or 26 model before the end of the year.

Yeah, we got it at least a couple of months ago. Used my first Tesla charger today, very uneventful.

We really like this car and our lease isn't up until Nov 26, I saw my first EV9 last week, looks sharp but I would maybe lean towards the EV6 as of now.

Someone at my work has an Ioniq9 already. Looks a bit cleaner than the EV9, but the same size. We don't need something that big. My kids are out of the house and have their own cars lol.

Bergen, Norway is like Spain .... we had day after day with temperatures exceeding 30 °C = 86 °F
That is unusal for us here... so I had some ad-hoc days off work when nice

Now today looks like another perfect day

That is a huge car ... over here it would be unpractical where we don´t have those US size parking spaces... I sometimes have significant issues fitting a BMW 7 series into tiny parking lots

I got mine a few months ago for my EV9. Hadn't had a chance to test it yet

I can see that such massive cars are impractical on small European roads or parking, but here in Murika, cars like EV9 fit like a glove. I got large storage in the back or 3 rows. Not everyday I need to move more than 4 people, but then I do it's a lifesaver. Ride quality is excellent, and in my Land trim (AWD/Dual motors), it's no slouch either.

I got in to rural Iowa with 18% and there are no level2-3 chargers within 40 minutes of me. There is a Charge Lab station in town with 2x 350kw plugs but they are out of service and the locals said they have been for months. I called the 1-800 number and they are waiting on parts.

Thankfully I do have my level 1 charger with me and got up to 37% over night. Should be around 50-60% by tomorrow.

Luckily, my home state of NJ has (or had) a program to pay back up to $1.5k for a home L2 charger, assuming I pick from the authorized list and connect to my electrical company, which I did. I had only an L1 charger for a few weeks, and I could get 10-12% overnight from a 120v/10a circuit. It was barely enough and had to be charged every night. Now with L2, things are much better. Still haven't tried any L3 chargers yet.

I like large cars .... except not for some parking lots here :D
I also saw some of the Ford F-150 lightning around here .... cool car
But to me .... it is way larger than the parking spot I have at my flat

In Ca. the electric provider PG&E will subsidize a home charge also, both the unit and the install. When our tenant moves out in the next month or so, I may install one in the house. We haven't decided if we'll live there for a while or keep renting it though.

Work has ~100 L2 chargers on the garage roof, so charging is rarely an issue during the day. There is one EA 350kw L3 two blocks away. On my way home, there are two 350kw chargers within a few blocks of each other, which is where I normally charge. One is EA, so free for me until next May, and the other is EVgo, which I only use if the other ones are full.

Buy the next one to you and park in the middle of the two. :D
Long time ago when we lived in Hawaii for a bit, that is what I did for our 2nd car in a condo development.
