What Beer are you Drinking Tonight?

Finished off the last of the growler of Shaka's final beer before they closed: Gratitude. A double cream ale that was a little hazy, 7.9% and very tasty. If you didn't go there, you didn't get any, and it was only there for ~2 months. I only have some cans left of Alani and Lotus Land and those are dwindling. My boss from LA is coming up next week for a conference and I have a 4pack for him lol. He couldn't get up here for the last week they were open.

Last week we tried a BBQ place we've never had because they had a good selection on tap. I tried Skull Skull Skull from Breakeven. Light, pretty good and went well with brisket lol.

We'll see. My last few Shaka Lotus Land's are calling my name, just not sure if it will be tonight or tomorrow night.

Just finished a 4-pack of dec. ‘24 canning of Moonlight Brewing’s Toast, aged lager.
Some years it’s not so good, but this year, and the ‘23 batch were both stunningly good.

Are they shut down permanently?
I know nothing about it .... is it good?
Yes, unfortunately they closed in July. We did have an event with them in December at a place that bought up a bunch of their stuff. They ended up becoming friends and they held a pre-opening party for friends and regulars from Shaka. It was a good time. $7 any beer and $7 for 3 tacos.

The two best microbrews around here both closed, Camino and Shaka.
