Dude, if you want to believe everyone right of center is 'far' right then that's your call, but you'd be wrong.
Not my point. More along the lines of using Rumble and woke, cope, snowflake etc than saying you're not on the right. Don't support Trump. Are not Republican or conservative while displaying tendencies of. Whichever combination you wanna select really. The ones here who dislike Trump, I clearly know who they are, and I probably know how they will vote. The ones on the right seem to swerve and bob & weave cause Trump is taboo. Cause deep down they love or loved how he behaves. Creating their own paradox, but prefer to blame the left for their own paradox type thing. Continue to display conservative tendencies while saying they're not. That type of thing.

Sorry, did someone say something about "fixing" the economy under Trump?

The Fed is VERY concerned about Trump having won and expects not to be able to lower rates to where they were planning:

But that is what they voted for so they can blame Biden.

They can blame whomever they want, but what are they going to do when it gets worse?

It is a given that with high interest / bad economy, whoever is in charge will be out. In this case, the choice wasn't going to be spectacular either way.

Americans are applying for permanent residency here in Canada to escape from that asshole Trump.
If the polls are accurate, we will probably be getting a Conservative government with a large majority in parliament next year. Then, they will have to contend with that asshole Poilievre. Those of us in the centre - like myself - will just have to bear down and deal with it, while talking the leftists off the ledge.

Yeah, hallelujah!

The saturation of every form of media with political ads this election cycle was absurd. The non-stop SMS political cr*p was especially annoying.
and to further show how pathetic our country has become, both parties combined spent a half billion dollars on this BS in my state of Pa alone !

other news, I see Pat Summerall's daughter has been named Trump's Chief-of-Staff. She helped her father overcome alcoholism, maybe she can temper Trump ? Not holding my breath..........

That makes sense in isolation.

However, if the two clauses in this sentence are unrelated, it's like saying, "The sky is blue, but what kind of car should I buy?

That's why it looked like a comparison was being made.

But it's probably not the ones (Cher, Alex Baldwin, etc) who threatened to leave the US if W and T were elected in the past, as if that would affect peoples' decision to pick a candidate.

How is it gong up there? I have been watching videos about some accusations tossed at Trudeau. Money missing, feds capping emissions....

I watched a video about the emissions cap with the Danielle Smith- how do you think that will end?

Good question. Greenhouse gas emissions/environment are in the federal government's jurisdiction, so she may not have much choice - if the new regulations are actually implemented.
Alberta Premier Smith says she's 'pissed' about oil and gas cap, eyeing legal challenge | CBC News

If the Conservative Party is voted into office next year...well, they don't give a poop about climate change, so those regulations would probably go by the wayside. They may pay lip service to environmental concerns, but actually do nothing about them. They are already saying they will cancel the carbon tax - which is an end-user charge* on fossil fuels. The federal carbon tax also features a rebate - in effect, combination carrot and stick. So, the more fossil fuel you use, the more tax you will pay and the less you benefit from the rebate. The less you use, the more benefit you will derive from the rebate. The Conservative party keeps hammering on the carbon tax, but never mention the rebate.

*Ironically the carbon tax is pretty much universally considered to be the conservative measure for reducing emissions, i.e. let the market decide how to reduce emissions in the most economical fashion they can find, rather than the methods/technology being dictated. But, in politics these days, everything is being turned upside down.
