Ive lost all respect for the American people who voted for Trump. You are f?cking stupid. He's a convicted felon, child rapist, and has no incling or clue how delicate relationships are with other countries. He's a hate monger and openly endorses discrimination. Trump will destroy the states and you stupid morons that voted for him have yourself to blame. Trump is an asshole.
As I have posted, I have no candidate in the current parties and I don't vote based on the party. That said,
Look at the vote totals- in 2012, Obama received about 66 million votes to Romney's 61 million, in 2016, Hillary Clinton received a bit under 69 million votes to Trump's roughly 63 million, in 2020, Biden received more than 81 million votes to Trump's 74 million. This time, Trump received more than 71 million votes to Harris' 66 million (all totals are approximate, rounded up or down appropriately).
If Harris is such a transformitive and historic candidate, why didn't she win? The only thing the polls and most of the media news heads got right- it was going to be a close race. They were wrong about most of the rest.
Trump is a turd as a person, but the difference in their platforms was completely ignored by people who couldn't stop dumping on him for that. I saw very little from anyone here about his platform, it was all about his lack of character, his obnoxious personality, his inability to STFU/inability to think while he speaks, his 2nd grade vocabulary, his convictions.......
44% of Males voted for Harris, so it's really not a sign of misogyny, although I would think that some who voted for Trump don't like her for being a woman. Only 12% of Blacks voted for him, but the total number of Black voters hasn't been shown yet- regardless, the ratio of Whites to Blacks is high enough that she may not have won if ALL Blacks had voted for her. It doesn't specify who 'Other' is, but he got 53% of their vote. She sure didn't get as much of the Asian vote as she might have wanted, at 56%.
OK, Trump is an asshole but how do you think Harris would handle the most difficult problems and situations around the world? Biden clearly didn't handle things well and his being ushered off to get ice cream doesn't show the US in a good light, so other leaders have done whatever they wanted- I doubt she would be able to get them to change their ways. Putin, Kim, Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah/Venezuela, etc are beyond her abilities and experience. The thing she denied as a problem, the Border, she almost completely avoided. Once she was a candidate, the Economy and the Border became issues that she would fix. She said Biden was doing a great job on these for 3-1/2 years and then, she said she planned to fix them. THAT'S one of the reasons she lost- people don't like flip-flopping. She pandered. They all do, but when it's done as identity politics, it's not what the country needs. For her, it was all about feelings and feelings WILL be hurt by every candidate, at some point.
You're throwing generalities around- how, specifically, will the states be destroyed?
The US has problems that need fixing- there was far too much bitching about personalities and not enough meaningful dialog about what this country needs- it was more about making people angry and not about finding common ground and yes, there is common ground, even between people who hate the 'other side'.
