Ive lost all respect for the American people who voted for Trump. You are f?cking stupid. He's a convicted felon, child rapist, and has no incling or clue how delicate relationships are with other countries. He's a hate monger and openly endorses discrimination. Trump will destroy the states and you stupid morons that voted for him have yourself to blame. Trump is an asshole.
Democrat elites have had their thumb on the scale for 16 years trying to pick winners, how about they actually hold a primary and put forward a decent candidate? No, let’s run a drunk cackling ultra left candidate with a further left running mate. Forget about any actual platform and promise free money and weed to minorities. While we’re at we’ll bring the P Diddy entourage on the campaign trail. Weird, lost young black, Latino and Jewish voters. Then after completely throwing the race come out and insult the other half of America, sounds like a solid plan but Democrats lost the White House, Senate and most likely the House…. Oops almost left out SCOTUS. Democrats need to take a step back and do a little housecleaning then come back to the table

Says someone supporting a convicted felon and child rapist. Clean up your own mess before complaining about someone elses. This also demonstrates that the American constitution is broken if a convicted felon is able to run for president.

I think I’m getting bored of saying how many times I don’t like Trump. This could possibly be the biggest disaster for the Democratic Party in our lifetime. In the next four years, we could have a 7 to 2 majority in Scotus and a couple dozen more conservative, federal judges. Democrats can’t unf-k this. Maybe 231 R’s in the House is the trend continues. I highly suggest taking a good long hard look at Democrat leadership and cleaning house

And pretty much the only way we, me and you, can directly affect it is by voting in every election, including local ones. Giving such grand strategic suggestions to political party leadership on ultra-niche forums will have minimal impact in real life.

LMAO, tell us how you really feel ! While I agree with what you said to a point, my way of looking at this is the Dems laid the big egg, putting in a candidate that couldn't even get 2% of her parties vote four years ago ? and then all of a sudden she's the chosen one, LOL.

You're young kid, I got news for 'ya, there's plenty of morons on both sides of the fence.

Since the Party won’t listen they won’t mind me suggesting they beg Tulsi to come back and take a leading role in the Party, may give them a fighting chance to smash the midterms.

I’ll happily take the dumb downvotes

Seriously, I have no life.
You really expect the American Education System to teach us about England? Pffft! They barely teach kids to speak full sentences and spell correctly. Math? Common Core, baby!
Oh, look! Trell gave me a dumb rating for this post- he wants to tell us about the US and how it should be run, but obviously doesn't know enough about it to understand that my post is accurate.

Don't be like Trell.

EDIT- He gave me a dumb rating for this post, too.

I'm hurt. Genuinely hurt. Kind of like when someone says something that's meant to be mean. HURT, I say!

Well, the thing is, there's nothing that says a felon can't be elected. It's a popular talking point, but it's not in the Constitution (Article II, Section I)- "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

They can be removed for crimes committed during their time in office, though.

Gotta give Harris credit for almost doing the impossible in 3 months.
While we can thank Biden for dropping out, we can admonish him for even running again in the first place.
Now comes the grooming of Vance to take Harris on 4 years from now.
God help the younger generations....glad my days are winding down.

And that is essentially a political process as the Senate decides what “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors” means. A US President does not have to be convicted of a crime in the normal justice system to be found guilty by the Senate.

As I have posted, I have no candidate in the current parties and I don't vote based on the party. That said,

Look at the vote totals- in 2012, Obama received about 66 million votes to Romney's 61 million, in 2016, Hillary Clinton received a bit under 69 million votes to Trump's roughly 63 million, in 2020, Biden received more than 81 million votes to Trump's 74 million. This time, Trump received more than 71 million votes to Harris' 66 million (all totals are approximate, rounded up or down appropriately).

If Harris is such a transformitive and historic candidate, why didn't she win? The only thing the polls and most of the media news heads got right- it was going to be a close race. They were wrong about most of the rest.

Trump is a turd as a person, but the difference in their platforms was completely ignored by people who couldn't stop dumping on him for that. I saw very little from anyone here about his platform, it was all about his lack of character, his obnoxious personality, his inability to STFU/inability to think while he speaks, his 2nd grade vocabulary, his convictions.......

44% of Males voted for Harris, so it's really not a sign of misogyny, although I would think that some who voted for Trump don't like her for being a woman. Only 12% of Blacks voted for him, but the total number of Black voters hasn't been shown yet- regardless, the ratio of Whites to Blacks is high enough that she may not have won if ALL Blacks had voted for her. It doesn't specify who 'Other' is, but he got 53% of their vote. She sure didn't get as much of the Asian vote as she might have wanted, at 56%.

OK, Trump is an asshole but how do you think Harris would handle the most difficult problems and situations around the world? Biden clearly didn't handle things well and his being ushered off to get ice cream doesn't show the US in a good light, so other leaders have done whatever they wanted- I doubt she would be able to get them to change their ways. Putin, Kim, Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah/Venezuela, etc are beyond her abilities and experience. The thing she denied as a problem, the Border, she almost completely avoided. Once she was a candidate, the Economy and the Border became issues that she would fix. She said Biden was doing a great job on these for 3-1/2 years and then, she said she planned to fix them. THAT'S one of the reasons she lost- people don't like flip-flopping. She pandered. They all do, but when it's done as identity politics, it's not what the country needs. For her, it was all about feelings and feelings WILL be hurt by every candidate, at some point.

You're throwing generalities around- how, specifically, will the states be destroyed?

The US has problems that need fixing- there was far too much bitching about personalities and not enough meaningful dialog about what this country needs- it was more about making people angry and not about finding common ground and yes, there is common ground, even between people who hate the 'other side'.

Now that was funny, for the Dems should NEVER have let it get as far as it did with Biden. But yes, considering she was an 'also ran' four years ago in her party's primary she made a valiant effort.

Now comes the grooming of Vance to take Harris on 4 years from now.
Now that is beyond hilarious ! She's toast, even the Dems aren't stupid enough to run her up there again. As for Vance, lets wait and see...........

I think it was the pandering coupled with a complete absence of a platform. Personality (that I think most disliked) and P Diddy’s entourage was epically stupid. The Democrat Party earned this

Oh my, you’re not that informed, to put it mildly.
