What Did I Build This For?

It’s to mount an electrified Harris walz sign. So if anyone tries to steal it they are handily dispatched. No?

Yes, but it doesn't like temps below 50F unless somehow inside an insulated cabin .
Mine are in garage.
It was over 80 degrees here yesterday, but we will have some snow tomorrow morning, but it won't last and warm up to seasonal temps. Further details at the weekend. Build out is Friday, there are no batteries but two way metering. Batteries are no longer recommended.

The house is two story and no basement.

It is an ICF home

Make sure you have ethernet cable out there if your gateway is outside there. Or in the garage if it is there. Don't rely on wi-fi connection.
We have wired Ethernet all over the house. Only mobile items use Wi-Fi. The Internet comes into the house next to the panel and goes to the modem and router, and then to a 19" patch bay, there are two 19" rack mounted hubs in the studio chase. There are patchbays for the security system, one each in the family room, great room and office.

What a project. Super. Lots of roof real estate for panels.
It took me 3 1/2 years to build my home with a couple of helpers and myself. Didn't have wi-fi on my mind in 1989/1990 design phase.
And a few other things were not imagined.
